The Tenth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Montana was elected on Friday, July 26, 2019.  The Tenth Bishop is The Rev. Marty Stebbins,  The Rev. Stebbins will be Ordained as the Tenth Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Montana at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Helena, Montana.

Sunday, September 22, 2019 - Services at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.  St. James has made arrangements for the movie "Traces of the Trade" to be shown in the Parish Hall at St. James on Sunday, September 22, 2019 following the 11 a.m. service.  The movie is about a family in Bristol, Rhode Island that discovers that its ancestors were the largest slave traders in the United States.  Some of the members of the family decide to learn more about the activities of their ancestors.  After we've viewed the movie, we will have an opportunity to discuss the movie.  If you'd like to view "Traces of the Trade", please bring your lunch and whatever beverage you would like to drink (there's a refrigerator in the Parish Hall where you can store your lunch and beverage).  No need to RSVP, just come to the Parish Hall at 12.:15 a.m. on September 22nd.
