St. James offers an extensive variety of programs that allows our members to live into their faith.  These programs vary from assisting the Food Bank to providing shelter and opportunities for homeless families with children to assisting in disaster relief both at home and abroad.

The third Friday of every month, St. James serves at the Fork & Spoon Homestyle Kitchen. Contact Peggy and Rick Bergstedt or call (307) 851-1731 if you want to sign up. If you have a youth aged 14-17 that would like to serve, they will be allowed to bus tables. You must verify with Peggy first if they want to serve. We generally need 8-10 volunteers. There is a list serve that goes out every month. The first ones to reply will be the ones that get first dibs! We are responsible to be there at 4:30 to set up and stay 1/2 hour after the cafe closes at 7:00 to assist with the clean up. Duties include greeting guests, hydrating the guests, bussing tables, dishwashing, serving the patrons and plating the food. Parking is available on Beall. All are asked to wear closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves and hats if you are plating food.
